Sometimes, you have the perfect set up for a really great compare and contrast story.  This is one of those set ups.  Two families call in to Healthy Spaces from Decker, IN.  They don't live particularly close to one another.  They did; however, end up having extraordinarily similar crawlspaces!  Both families had groundwater intrusion issues, both tested positive for mold.  Both families needed waterproofing systems installed and also wanted vapor barriers.  They both chose to have their mold mitigated and waterproofing services performed by Healthy Spaces.

After remediating the 1,176 square foot crawlspace for mold, the Healthy Spaces installation team began work on the real difference makers.  The installation included 1,176 square feet of Terrablock insulation, drainage matting, and Cleanspace.  The crew installed SilverGlo wall product over the Terrablock insulation to finish off making the crawlspace as insulated and comfortable as possible.  The CleanSpace vapor barrier over that will keep the entire crawlspace sealed off from the dirt and water intrusion previously experienced.  They also installed a SmartSump sump pump and Sanidry CX Air System.  All in all, the project took about 6 days and has made a huge difference to the homeowners HVAC system efficiency and has created a cost savings each month on the heating and air conditioning bill.
