Micah B contacted Healthy Spaces for a Basement Waterproofing System. He felt that George took his time to evaluate his issues and develop a plan that made sense. That plan included installing Waterguard, a full perimeter interior drainage system with viewports, wall flanges, and anti-clog technology. George paired this high performance system with a reliable Zoeller pump called a Super Sump. Micah and his family were very impressed with the extent that they cleaned the area when finished and the communication throughout the installation! Micah said, "We spoke with several companies but Healthy Spaces offered, what we felt to be, the best solution to our problems".

"Donnie spent a lot of time educating me about my options and helped me realize what options would provide me with the best protection".
Richard decided to have the Waterguard basement waterproofing system installed with a Super Sump Pump and extended discharge line. Richard loved the system and recommended Healthy Spaces to a co-worker and many others.
Melanie's basement was flooding every time that it rained. Besides that irritating and frustrating series of events, the basement was damp and smelly with moist walls virtually all the time. Melanie was initially nervous about inviting a basement waterproofing company into her home. Healthy Spaces sent her a profile of the person coming to her home with a picture and when Donnie showed up, he was every bit as professional as Melanie was led to believe. He took time to thoroughly explain all the repair options available to Melanie and helped her determine which solution was the best fit for her home. Melanie was even able to get some great financing!
Melanie said, "The installation crew was professional and honest and they made me feel very taken care of. Thanks for caring about me!"
This Fort Branch, IN crawlspace is a real mess. The flimsy plastic covering the dirt has shredded and is useless. The entire crawlspace has a musty smell and the ground is damp.
The Healthy Spaces team installed 1143 square feet of Cleanspace, which is the most advanced vapor barrier on the market. It's an engineered film compromised of several layers and is guaranteed against rips and tears for 25 years. It's also bright white, which makes the crawlspace visibly brighter. The team also installed a SuperSump sump pump system, a rigid discharge line, and an Everlast crawlspace entry system with well.
This Hazleton, IN basement was wet and smelly. The homeowners wanted to add functional square footage to their home. In fact, they wanted to create a space for family movie nights and a game room. Unfortunately, the basement was just so wet that they had written it off and were considering popping the top on their existing home, or possibly adding an addition. The price was just so high to do it! One of the homeowners was talking about the problem at church with a friend when that friend told them about Healthy Spaces and their waterproofing solutions.
Donnie went out to their home and talked with the homeowners about their goals and budget, talked them through a variety of options, and helped the homeowners realize their dream--functional family movie night space!
The crew installed 139 linear feet of WaterGuard with 3 view ports, a TripleSafe sump pump, and a full rigid discharge line system. The installation took just over 3 days. The homeowners were thrilled with the project and are finishing their basement this week!
Wet crawl spaces are no laughing joke. This family in Oakland City, IN, were having a horrible time with crawl space odors and they discovered their dirt floor was a muddy, flooding mess! It was also full of fungus and mold, too, which wasn't helping the smell.
They contacted Healthy Spaces to provide a custom solution in eliminating their crawl space problems. Bob Roberts came out to do a thorough inspection and recommend that we perform mold and fungus removal. Then he designed a system to remove the water from the ground through an EZFlow Drainage system connected to a powerful Zoeller sump pump. The homeowners also opted to install a Sedona dehumidifier system to keep the relative humidity levels low.
This Patoka, IN crawl space was begging for help. The homeowners hadn't been down there since they moved in because there wasn't a reason to be. When these homeowners went to sell their home, they realized that it needed a facelift. Their high electric bills and cold floors began to explain itself.
Design Specialist, Scott Schaum, met with the homeowners to discuss a perfect plan. During the thorough inspection, Scott realized that the crawl space was filled with mold, and it definitely needed to be taken care of to make the home a healthy place to live. Mold can cause sickness to families, especially children and elders. Also, when wet load-bearing girders and floor joists are under attack by mold they will eventually need to be replaced due to rotting. Secondly, the crawl space needed a new vapor barrier to seal the outside earth from moisture. Dirt crawl spaces make the air in your house damp- and damp air costs more to heat and cool.
A homeowner in Princeton, Indiana contacted Healthy Spaces with concerns about noticeably sagging floors. Upon inspection, our team identified a combination of structural deficiencies and moisture-related damage in the crawl space below, including deteriorated floor joists, fungal growth on wood members, and inadequate waterproofing — all contributing to the floor movement above.
The Healthy Spaces team developed a comprehensive repair plan addressing both the moisture source and the resulting structural damage. The following scope of work was performed:
1. Remove Debris — Clear job site of existing debris prior to beginning work.
2. Install SmartSump Pump System — Includes liner, cast iron pump, CleanPump Stand, airtight lid with airtight floor drain, and WaterWatch alarm system.
3. Install IceGuard — Prevents flooding caused by clogged or frozen discharge lines.
4. Install LawnScape Outlet — Installed at the end of the discharge line for proper water dispersion.
5. Install EZ Flow Drain — Installed as indicated on the job drawing.
6. Install Discharge Line — As indicated on job drawing (up to 10 feet included with sump pump system).
7. Install Supplemental Beam — As indicated on job drawing to restore structural support.
8. Install SmartJack Supports — As indicated on job drawing to support the floor joist system above.
9. Install EverLast Door — New crawl space access door installed for improved access and air sealing.
10. Install SilverGlo High-Performance Graphite Insulation — As indicated on job drawing.
11. Fungus Remediation (Initial) — Apply cleaning product, scrub/wipe wood as necessary, and apply barrier product.
12. Sister New Wood to Damaged Joist — New 2x10" lumber sistered on 1 side to damaged joist as indicated on drawing.
13. Seal Vents — Sealed from inside using SilverGlo and spray foam insulation.
14. Fungus Remediation (Final) — Apply cleaning product, scrub/wipe wood as necessary, and apply barrier product.
Upon completion, the crawl space was transformed into a dry, structurally sound, and properly insulated environment. The sagging floor above was stabilized and re-supported using SmartJack supports and a supplemental beam. Fungal growth was treated and eliminated, damaged joists were reinforced, and a complete waterproofing system was installed to prevent future moisture intrusion. The homeowner can now enjoy peace of mind knowing their home’s foundation is protected for the long term.
