These Evansville, IN homeowners were having a terrible time with their crawlspace. They had been battling mold and fungus issues for several years and were tired of dealing with it. When Jeff explored the crawlspace, he found that the joist beneath the kitchen area had been supported by several cinder blocks stacked on top of one another. Over time, the joist had warped, applying pressure to the cinder the blocks and those blocks had cracked. Now, there was a space between the joist and the cracked cinder blocks. This made for a bouncy, springy floor in the kitchen.
The homeowners elected to have SmartJack Support Posts installed in place of the cinder blocks. Besides the fact that the SmartJacks are stronger than cinder blocks, they are also adjustable, so the kitchen floor will never be bouncy again!
