Sanidry helps with mold and allergies.

Allergens in the Home

Mold spores can certainly irritate someone with allergies. The number one allergen however, is the fecal matter of dust mites. Dust mites don't drink water, but absorb it out of the air through their skin. In order to live, dust mites need relative humidity over 50%.

SaniDry Air Filtration FiltersBasement Systems solution, the SaniDry Basement Air System unit can be set to reduce the relative humidity below 50%, under normal conditions, and can go well below this as well. The SaniDry basement dehumidifier is unlike a regular household dehumidifier in that the settings are not simply, "low, medium, high or continuous." Rather with the SaniDry dehumidifier and air filtration system, you set the relative humidity level you want, such as 49%. This level of relative humidity will cause dust mites to die off.

The SaniDry unit also has a two-stage air filter system to keep the air clean. A prefilter for large dust particles can be rinsed clean as needed, and a second, easy to replace, slide-in filter takes out particles as small as two microns.
