Waterproofed Crawl in Boonville, IN

Having a waterproofed crawl space means that you can have a worry-free mind every time it rains. A couple in Boonville, Indiana had reached out to Healthy Spaces after visiting one of our social media posts about crawl space encapsulation. The encapsulation had interested the couple in waterproofing their crawl. On the day of the inspection, there were signs of water coming into the crawl space and it was humid. 

The two openings were tightly secured with new access well such as the EverLast crawl space door. To control the amount of water that came up through the dirt floor, the dimpled polyethylene membrane matting is sprawled out. The matting directs the water towards the sump which will then carry the water out and away from the home. CleanSpace is fastened to the upper parts of the walls and on top of the drainage matting. CleanSpace has multiple layers of plastic with different characteristics of flexibility and puncture and tears resistance.
