Fort Branch, IN Sump Pump Transformation

Check out this transformation! Before, these Fort Branch, IN homeowners had an open sump hole which was allowing moisture into their basement. On top of that problem, they were also having problems with their sump pump working correctly, especially during heavy rains and storms

With the help of System Design Specialist, Scott Schaum, they have an upgraded TripleSafe Sump Pump system to keep their home healthy. With this sump pump, they essentially have three sump pumps in one sump liner. They now also have an airtight sump lid to prevent water from evaporating into the basement and debris from clogging it. It also has a pump alarm to alert you if your sump pump had failed and your basement was in danger of being flooded. A backup battery is included as well. It kicks in if the power goes out, which is perfect for a big storm with heavy rains and other emergencies.

If you’ve noticed that your sump pump isn’t living up to your expectations, give us a call or click here!

Basement Waterproofed in Evansville, IN

Here you can see the real difference that Waterguard and Brightwall systems can make in your Evansville, IN basement.  In the first picture, you can see the mineral build up and staining present n the block concrete foundation walls and concrete slab of the basement.  This staining can also be a breeding ground for mold.  In the second picture, you can see that the Waterguard basement perimeter drainage system was installed and the Brightwall wall system attached to direct wall moisture into the Waterguard system.  The two components now direct all wall moisture and groundwater seepage into the drains, to the sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement and far away from the home.

Foundation and Waterproofing Repair in Evansville, IN

This Evansville, IN family got very anxious every time it would rain because the horrible cracks in their basement walls made for an easy path for water to come in. Foundation wall cracks are nothing to take lightly. Their foundation walls were showing "staircase" cracks, indicating bowing or buckling walls. We determined that our patented PowerBrace system was perfect to fix this. As for the leaking water coming into their home, our WaterGuard would guarantee the water to be kept out, providing a healthy space for their family.

Our Healthy Spaces team installed PowerBraces to support the basement wall and allow for potential straightening over time. The PowerBraces patented system allows for the tightening of the wall to improve the condition of the wall over time. The beams are zinc coated making them resistant to corrosion, reduces abrasion and wear, and creates a non-toxic surface. The beams also have a clean-cut appearance. The PowerBrace system utilizes a joist reinforcement method that distributes the load of the home, evenly as to not damage your floor system. Secondly, the WaterGuard and new sump pump were installed. WaterGuard effectively captures wall and floor seepage before it damages your basement floor. The WaterGuard drainage system sits on the top of the footing inside the basement so the pipes do not get clogged by mud or debris. The sump pump then effectively removes the water from the home. Lastly, the homeowners decided to use Cleanspace as an economical way to cover the basement walls. This 20-mil thick reinforced plastic liner will stop water vapor from permeating the walls, as well as drain wall leaks. The homeowners now have the peace of mind that they've always dreamed of. They are so happy with the finished product.

Damp, Moldy Crawl Space in Evansville, IN

This Evansville, IN crawl space was very damp with condensation and moisture taking over, and the homeowners needed a solution to repair and prevent this from happening again. The main problem that condensation and moisture give our crawl spaces is mold. If you have mold in your crawl space, you are breathing in 50% of that air on the first floor of your home. Homeowner, Will M., had dealt with this damp crawl space many times, and he was tired of putting his family's health at risk. He knew a lot of work needed to be done, so he decided to give Healthy Spaces a call to solve the problem.

Design Specialist, Chris Russel, quickly came to evaluate the situation. After Will and Chris worked together they came up with a solution to totally fix the issue, our production team came to the home to start the project. The solution was that the crawl space would need an EZ Flow Drain System so water can run to the sump pump in the crawlspace instead of pooling, SantiDry Sonoma, SmartSump, and CleanSpace.

The SaniDry Sedona is a dehumidifier for your crawl space that eliminates damp, musty odors by drying and filtering the air. It is the most effective and energy-efficient flow through dehumidifier in the world. Our CleanSpace encapsulation system is lined in crawl spaces to permanently separate your home from the ground. This is part of a healthy crawl space and a healthy home. The SmartSump is used for your crawl space drainage system. It is designed just for crawl spaces because the liner and lid form a tight seal around the CleanSpace liner.

Will M. is very happy with how his crawl space turned out, especially knowing that his family is breathing healthy air.

Now that there's no moisture from the earth creeping into your crawl space, it is the perfect time to seal off your crawl space door to keep all conditioned air inside.
