The Healthy Spaces installation team is remediating the mold first, then installing a waterproofing system and a dehumidifier.

Here, you can see that the floor has been covered with plastic so that any mold spores or infected material can fall on the plastic and be properly disposed of.

The mold remediation will begin with the wooden subfloor where mold is growing and eating away at the structural supports. This will lead to squeaking, sagging main level floors.

The pipes and ducts will be scrubbed and cleaned thoroughly as well.

You can see a close up of the mold here. Some of the subfloor is suffering from mold and dust mite degradation.

The walls have to be completely scrubbed clean now that the ceiling has been properly remediated.

Here is the Sanidry unit under this plastic. Once the mold has been remediated, and the Waterguard is installed, this unit will be added to the system to keep the relative humidity below 60%.
