Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: A Old Basement Leaks in Greenville, KY
A home in Greenville, KY, had an old cellar/basement that was leaking water whenever it would rain. Part of the floor where the water was leaking in from was muddy. The homeowners reached out to Healthy Spaces in need of a reliable and effective drainage system. One of the family members in the household mentioned the humid climate and how an inspection of mold would be helpful. The basement needed to be waterproofed!
Once the key to a waterproofing system is that it must have an opening to drain water from the walls. The WaterGuard system does just that! The gap called a French drain will allow water coming through the wall cracks, to flow down toward the WaterGuard without affecting the climate of the basement. Next, the TripleSafe sump pump was put in next to the WaterGuard. Any water that does enter the WaterGuard, will be directed to the sump where it will be emptied outside, away from the home. CleanSpace is put on the walls to protect against water vapor while making the space bright and clean! The homeowners were grateful to finally have a reliable basement for storage.
The basement/cellar had water leaking in. Parts of the floor were covered with mud.
The TripleSafe sump pump was installed next to the WaterGuard. Other than the ground, the sump will be receiving water from this drainage system.
